thekidsThere are many fun activities throughout the week designed for success and building self-esteem. Campers are given a Bible, memory bag, music CD, and photo album to help them remember this special week. A big birthday party is held during the week, as many of these children don’t get a birthday celebration as they move from home to home. RFKC provides an upbeat, positive, and affirming environment where children are treated royally, as children of the King should be!

These great activities include zip line, giant swing, rock wall, archery, swimming, woodworking, craft area, and tea party for girl and laser tag for boys.

Some of the campers have experienced severe abuse or neglect and are often passed from one foster home to the next. However, camp is a place of safety and joy. When the campers arrive on Monday, they are scared, anxious, and distrustful. By Friday, they are relaxed, happy, and have developed many positive relationships with staff. They wish camp could last longer!
